About Troels Damgaard
My mission
In 2020, Troels won the Warsaw Negotiation Round, an international competition with participants from around the globe.
At the Danish company Sleeknote, Troels led a team of 10 sales people, overseeing everything from recruitment and training to demonstrating cold-calling techniques to successfully close customers, contributing to a 40% growth rate and the company’s eventual acquisition by Drip.
Troels views negotiation as both an art and a science, with significant potential to enhance skills across individuals, teams, and organizations. Effective negotiation is crucial for achieving remarkable outcomes in today’s business world.
Troels now shares effective negotiation strategies and techniques, helping organizations unlock their full potential and succeed.

With a master’s degree in International Business Negotiation from IÉSEG School of Management in Paris with straight A’s in all 30 courses, I can rightfully be called a true negotiation nerd.
Over the years, I have studied and trained in all facets of negotiations imaginable—both on a theoretical and practical level.
About max Gouchan
My mission
I’m a college dropout turned entrepreneur with over 12 years of experience driving sales and growth for various startups. In roles like Interim Head of Sales and Managing Director, I’ve helped build and scale sales processes from the ground up—establishing teams, creating sales playbooks, and closing deals. My work has included everything from securing and attending client meetings with CEOs to ensuring successful deal closures, all with a focus on building effective, motivated teams.
Throughout my career, I’ve led over 100 talented employees and continually aim to improve as a leader, finding the right people and keeping them inspired.
Currently, I’m building Forecastly AI, an impact-driven tech startup dedicated to reducing food waste. We help major restaurant and bakery chains, as well as amusement parks, predict customer demand to cut down on both labor and food costs.
After five years in the food industry, I saw firsthand how much quality food goes to waste and how many decisions are still based on gut feeling instead of data. Forecastly is here to change that.
Outside of startups, I’m passionate about skiing, exploring nature on my motorcycle, and reading. I also serve as a mentor in Innovation Norway’s mentor program, speak publicly on topics of sales and leadership, and sit on advisory boards.
